Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of coconut milk, oat milk, or almond milk.
  • 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric (add fresh turmeric, optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger (add fresh ginger, optional)
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)

Instructions:

1. Gather Your Ingredients and Tools:

  • Measure out all your ingredients and have them ready. 

  • You will need a small saucepan, a milk frother, a whisk or spoon, and a mug for serving. Optional: a strainer for a smoother texture.

2. Heat the Milk:

  • Pour 1 cup of coconut milk, almond milk, or oat milk into a small saucepan. 

  • Set the saucepan on a medium heat. 

  • Heat the milk until hot but not boiling, which should take about 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent skin from forming on the surface.

3. Add the Spices:
